KEYNOTE PANEL DISCUSSION

While the growth in EVs has accelerated exponentially in recent years, we are lagging well behind where we need to be in terms of the ambitious government targets. The scale of the challenge is ambitious and one might wonder if there really is an EV revolution or is this another false dawn?

Topics will include:

  • challenges in reaching our climate action targets
  • the decline in EV registrations
  • the need for Government to support the EV transition with ways to incentivise the market for both private and company car buyers.
  • building a future-proof and robust charging infrastructure to support current growth
  • grid demands – ensuring investment in the grid to meet future demand
